April 14, 2006. Holy Week. This was the "Biyernes Santo" (Good Friday) procession around town following the 3-hour long mass and Siete Palabras rites at Parroquia ni San Marcos Evangelista. Accompanying the devotees in the procession were images of San Pedro, Santa Maria Magdalena, San Marcos, Santa Veronica, Nuestra Senora de Piedad, Mother Mary weeping, and Jesus laid in a casket. ~*It amazes how Filipinos, no matter what their life statuses may be, still hold on to their Catholic faith and the teachings of Christ.
