El Nido Resorts, in partnership with millions of people in over 100countries worldwide, participated in the observance of Earth Day on April22 2008. Ninety-six staff members from Miniloc and Lagen Island Resortsvolunteered to spend their off-duty hours picking up trash alongvarious beaches and in dive sites around El Nido. Afterwards, the tiredbut victorious volunteers were treated to food and music at the EntalulaIsland Beach Club. Manager for Environment Ms. Mariglo Lariritthanked the staff for joining the cleanups and reminded them of howimportant their time was to the success of the event.
