This is a mixture of two demonstrations from Werneck Jiu Jitsu Academy (www.cassiowerneck.com)open houses in 2003. Five minutes before the open house started, Cassio Werneck asked some of his students to show a few techniques. Tyrone Glover, Marcos Torregrossa, Derek DiManno,and Adrian Saldana participated in what became an impromptu demo. Werneck Jiu Jitsu is located in Sacramento, California.

Jan 9, 2009 - i agree, hooking the leg is the best option. It keeps him from picking you up and you can sweep him very easily from that position.

Jan 9, 2009 - Something else you could do is, lower your legs onto his hips when he stands up, and grab his ankles, then u can exert force onto his hips while his feet are locked, so that he falls backwards and u can obtain a mount position or side control
