Dec 2, 2008 - i'm not really sure. my guess is...(and someone please correct me if i'm wrong) because she was the oldest. before yubin, there was hyunah who had to leave the group. so in the original wonder girls, sunye was the oldest one. that's my guess. i personally really like sunye though.

And in my opinion she's the best allrounder in the group - I could even say the best vocalist and dancer, but that's just my opinion and I see YeEun and SunYe as somehow equal singing wise.

I quickly associated that the title "leader" to being the lead vocalist, which made me question her, because as mentioned, she gives most of the screen time to the other members. She does have the qualities of a true leader that I find very commendable. Plus, i did notice she's the strongest dancer in the group and a good vocalist. I do find YaEun the best vocalist though, but definitely needs work on her stage presence and dancing.

Dec 2, 2008 - Actually the strongest vocalist goes as follows according to JYP: Sun Mi, Ye Eun and Sun Ye. She is the leader because of her natural ability to direct the girls. She is very articulate and sensible. If you watched their shows you might understand why she is the leader. All the girls are pretty in their own right, she is very pretty actually has the 60s looks down more than the other girls, but all of them are pretty. it's just you dont like her and that's okay. hope that helps a bit.
