Five new Ambassadors have presented their credentials to President Rajapakse.. They arrived at the Presidential Secretariat from the Galle Face roundabout in horse carriages.Ambassador-designate of the Netherlands Leoni Margaretha Guelencere presented her credentials to the President. Nirsia Castro Guevare is the new Ambassador-designate of Cuba. She was followed by the new Ambassador-designate of Hungary Dr. Geza Palmai. Ambassador-designate of the Philippines Zenaida Tacorda handed in her credentials. Ion De La Riva Guzman De Frutos is the new Ambassador-designate of Spain. Minister Rohitha Bogollagama and President's Secretary Lalith Weeratunga were present.
