This reporter knew what she was doing and this was a deliberate attempt to make Palin look bad by catching her out on a minor lie on something pretty irrelevant. In society, what our leaders and public figures say, do, eat, and even read are all things Average joes want to know so they can "keep up with the Palins." Couric simply asked what newspapers Palin read. If you can't answer a simple question like that, you shouldn't be governor, much less Vice President of the United States.

Thats the easist question that could have been asked she could have easily named one out of a trillion different newspapers and avoided the whole situation.
