Jan 9, 2009 - i have synesthesia and i thought i was pretty normal too. no one could understand why i remembered certain dates or the price of something we bought at the store. i can read and hear colors. listening to music makes it so much more colorful and enjoyable, i dont think i could imagine life without synesthesia.everything would be so...bland and different. and to have people call it a "condition", makes me kind of mad, its a gift, not a illness!

Jan 9, 2009 - I'm not sure if I have synesthesia, for this may relate more to my autistic condition, but when I look at numbers I see red dots on them in certain places that correspond to the value of that number. So three dots on the number three for example. This is how I process numbers. When I see a number it is merely a template for the dots which is where I register the true value of it.
