Jan 9, 2009 - historically speaking however, there WAS a man named Dracula in real life. apperently he had some nasty habit involving something with his enemies and their blood, i dont remember the exact details, but yup, there was a real man named count dracula waaaay back in history. he has a creepy castle too, i wish i could remember the details :(

zloppy300 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - he didn't drink their blood, but dracula was a leader of a city or a village, he impaled alot of people outside his castle to scare all his enemies
xxibitsuxx Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - I think that's because they are all supposed to be English, and comparatively, European's have much larger noses than do people in Japan...where this was made.
ufc91mgm Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - guy pearce would be a good alucard in a movie
qpalqlap Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - his castle is near Romania. wether or not he was a vampire is open to speculation, but the existence of vampires is actually pretty well documented. many cultures that had no contact with one another have documented vampires, or vampiric creatures in their histories. unlike Bram Stoker's novel, they were not created as fiction soooooooooooo.....
foamy23 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - sigh, OK! we get it! Guy Pearce would be....alright in an Alucard movie but NOT my Alucard!!! so PLEAASE stfu!
TheDevilHerslef Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - His name was Vlad not Dracula,Tepes and Dracula were his nicknames...and yes he was real...he was a Romanian ruler in 15th century and fought the Turks, his enemyes were impaled on stackes, don't think HE did the work probably someone else...myth about him went out in Stokers novel "Dracula" but who knows if he was a vampire...still vampire or not he was a real historical figure...
RockerDylan12 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - This is SOOOOOOOO off from the manga *tear* I LOVEEEE the manga more then any manga I have ever read! And what episode has the 10 years ago flashback when Alucard was a corpse in the basement? I REALLY wana see that :D
captainben24 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - I thought his name was Vlad Trepes but he was a count and his castle was called Dracula or something so they called him Count Dracula...correct me if I'm wrong.
seagullman87 Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - Vlad was the Romanian conqueor that the character of dracula was based off of. Though he was not a vampire, he was often portrayed as one due to his bloody battles & cruel demeanor.
DrDakter Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - 3:14 she's fat...... that is a she, right?

Terrorkarel Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - his father was called Dracul witch means Dragon, so he was callen Dracula witch means son of the Dragon.

almanacofsleep Says:
Jan 9, 2009 - Vlad Trepes(Dracule) had nothing to do with Dracula, Bram Stoker saw his name in a book and thought that would suit his character.
